The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks Athletes of the Week on Wednesday. This week's winners, Jordan Brantley and Ryan Rundle, were recognized for their standout performances during the week of May 3rd.

Jordan Brantley, First Year, First Baes, Frostproof, Fla.

• Named Sun Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player
• Led Keiser to its first Sun Conference Tournament Championship in program history
• Delivered a dominant showing vs. No. 3 Southeastern University, playing a pivotal role in the title win
• Hit 9-for-13 (.692) across the tournament
• Posted a 1.308 slugging percentage and .714 on-base percentage
• Tallied one home run, two triples, one double, and six RBI
• Produced clutch offense throughout, anchoring the Seahawks lineup in key moments

   

Ryan Rundle, Fourth Year, A/M, Wellington, Fla.

• Named AAC Tournament MVP after leading No. 2 Keiser to the Appalachian Athletic Conference Championship
• Powered the Seahawks to a 2-0 week with wins over University of the Cumberlands and Reinhardt University
• Recorded a season-high 6 assists and 9 points in the semifinal victory
• Tallied 3 goals and 2 assists in the championship game
• Finished the tournament with multiple multi-goal and multi-assist performances
• Registered a season-high 16 shots in the semifinal, constantly pressuring the defense
• Extended streak to 4 consecutive games with 3+ goals
• Notched 2+ assists in 5 straight games
• Played a key role in Keiser securing its second straight AAC Tournament title and NAIA National Championship berth

 

 
Both Brantley and Rundle will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (April) award in May.
