The Keiser Athletic Department announced the 2025-26 Seahawks Athletes of the Month for the month of January on Saturday. This month's winners, freshman swimmer
Natalia Janiszewska and sophomore swimmer
Isaiah Aleksenko, have been recognized for their performances during the month.
Isaiah Aleksenko, Second Year, Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands
- A two-time Sun Conference Swimmer of the Week during the month
- Also named the NAIA Swimmer of the Week (Feb. 2)
- Delivered a standout performance against the reigning NCAA Division II National Champions
- Won two individual events: 200 Fly (1:48.80) and 50 Back (22.58)
- Captured the 200 Fly despite drawing the maximum distance, winning the event by two seconds
- Played a pivotal role in two relay victories, swimming on the 100 Medley Relay (41.38) and 100 Free Relay (38.50)
- Helped Keiser secure four total event wins (two individual, two relay) during the meet
- Demonstrated versatility across multiple strokes, contributing in butterfly, backstroke, and freestyle relay legs
- Helped the Seahawks to a win over Division II Nova Southeastern on Saturday
- Aleksenko won five individual events and was part of three first-place relay teams against Division II opponents
- He is now ranked first in the NAIA in four events and top-3 in the NAIA in two more events
- Additionally, he is on all five relay teams that hold the top times in the NAIA
Natalia Janiszewska, First Year, Back, Wroclaw, Poland
- Named the NAIA and Sun Conference Swimmer of the Week (Feb. 4)
- Recorded a three-event winning performance in Keiser's 159–49 victory over Barry University at the Lake Lytal Aquatic Center
- Swam the opening leg of the winning 200 medley relay, helping the Seahawks touch first in 1:43.45 alongside Kate Vorontsova, Luiza Bersi, and Alanis Santiago
- Captured first place in the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.37
- Earned another individual victory in the 100 butterfly, winning the event in 56.32
- Contributed significantly to Keiser's sweep of both relays and nine total individual wins in the meet
- Also won the 200 Back and 100 Back versus Nova Southeastern
