The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks Players of the Week on Monday. This week's winners, Raul Cedillo and Steingerður Snorradóttir, were recognized for their standout performances during the week of October 18th.

Raul Cedillo, Second Year, Forward , Machala, Ecuador

• Scored the game-winning goal in the 76th minute of a 1-0 win over Southeastern, finishing a pass from Mikael Baisotti and Santiago Duque
• Delivered the only goal of the match after the teams were scoreless deep into the second half
• Helped Keiser go 2-0 on the week, adding a 3-1 win over SCAD Savannah
• Lifted the Seahawks to 3-1-1 in Sun Conference play
• Recorded two shots on the week, with one on target

   

Steingerður Snorradóttir, Third Year, Defender, Akureyri, Iceland

• Led the No. 1-ranked Seahawks with two goals and one assist as Keiser shut out a pair of ranked Sun Conference foes
• Scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in a 3-0 win at No. 12 Southeastern on Wednesday
• Followed with a goal in a 4-0 victory at No. 21 SCAD Savannah on Saturday
• Needed only two shots, both on target, to score her first two goals of the season
• Totaled five points on the week while starting both matches

 
Both Cedillo and Snorradóttir will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (October) award in November.
