The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks Athletes of the Week on Monday. This week's winners, Cameron James and Avrie Schmidt, were recognized for their standout performances during the week of Nov. 23.

 
Camerin James, Third Year, Forward/Guard, Apopka, Fla.​

• Delivered a breakout performance with 30 points and 11 rebounds in the conference win over Warner.
• Recorded two double-doubles across the week, helping lead Keiser to a pair of dominant victories.
• Averaged 21.0 points and 10.5 rebounds while shooting an efficient 64.3% from the field (18–28).
• Perfect at the line, going 6-for-6 on free throws.
• Added 4 steals, 2 assists, and 3 blocks, showcasing strong two-way impact.
• Key contributor to a Keiser offense that ranks ninth in the NAIA in field-goal percentage (52.2%) and 17th nationally in overall offensive efficiency.

   

Avrie Schmidt, Fourth Year, Guard, Rock Island, Ill.​

• Powered Keiser to a 2-0 week, averaging 20.0 points per game.
• Shot an elite 68.0% from the field (17–25) across both games.
• Knocked down 66.7% from three (2–3), providing efficient perimeter scoring.
• Recorded a game-high 25 points on 10–12 shooting in the win over Florida National.
• Added 2.5 assists per game, contributing to the offensive flow.
• Also totaled 6 rebounds, 2 steals, and showed strong decision-making throughout both performances.

Both Cam and Avrie will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (November) award in December.
