The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks Athletes of the Week on Wednesday. This week's winners, Sophia Sindersberger and Iver Sokhan-Sanj, were recognized for their standout performances during the week of April 26th.

Violet Apisah, Fourth Year, Sydney, Australia

• Led No. 1 Keiser to the Sun Conference Tournament Championship and a 4-0 semifinal sweep over SCAD Savannah
• Earned two dominant No. 1 singles victories over nationally ranked opponents
• Defeated No. 28 Cherry Xiang 6-2, 6-1 in the semifinal
• Followed with a commanding 6-0, 6-1 win over No. 53 Isabella Garces in the championship match
• Went 1-0 in doubles, teaming with Patricia Apisah for a 6-0 shutout win in the final
• Helped Keiser secure the doubles point in the championship match
• Played a key role in Keiser finishing the tournament without dropping a single point
• Powered the Seahawks to their eighth consecutive Sun Conference Tournament title

   

Iver Sokhan-Sanj , Second Year, Lorenskog, Norway

• Claimed second straight individual title and fourth of the season
• Became just the third Seahawk to win medalist honors at the Sun Conference Championship (Adam Buchanan - 2025; Javier Neira Garcia - 2022)
• Shot a 1-under on Par 3s and a 6-under on Par 5s 
• Registered 37 par putts
• Tallied 10 birdies
• Also had one eagle

 

 
Both Apisah and Sokhan-Sanj will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (April) award in May.
