The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks Athletes of the Week on Monday. This week's winners, Dakota Moberg and Ryan Rundle, were recognized for their standout performances during the week of March 22nd.

Dakota Moberg, Second Year, WR, Port Saint Lucie, Florida

• The award marks her first weekly honor of the season and the first of her career
• Led Keiser to a 2-0 Sun Conference mark this past week, leading the team in flag pulls with 24
• Opened the week with a team-high 10 flag pulls in a 35-7 win at Point
• She also added her third interception of the season in the contest versus the Skyhawks
• Set a school record with 14 flag pulls in Keiser's 34-12 win over Brewton-Parker
• Added a 16-yard touchdown reception late in the fourth quarter
• Also registered 11 catches for 164 yards and two touchdowns on the week
• On the year, Moberg leads the team in total flag pulls (68.0) - No. 3 in the NAIA
• She has also recorded 3.0 TFL, 1.0 Sacks, three interceptions and eight pass breakups

 

Ryan Rundle, Fourth Year, Wellington, Florida

• Paced the No. 2-ranked Keiser Seahawks to a 2-0 AAC record this past week
• Scored a team-high 12 points
• During the team's 26-4 win over the Koalas, Rundle scored one goal and assisted on three others
• He followed that performance up with a team-leading eight points versus the No. 6-ranked SCAD Bees
• During that game, Rundle notched his first hat trick of the season while recording the 200th point of his collegiate career
• Posted 10 total shots on the week with 75 percent of them on net
• On the year, Rundle has recorded 20 points (No. 2 on the team), averaging 5.00 points per game
• He also leads the team in assists with 13

 
Both Moberg and Rundle will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (March) award in April.
