The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks Athletes of the Week on Monday. This week's winners, Aly Avrach  and Camerin James, were recognized for their standout performances during the week of Jan 4th.

 
Aly Avrach, Fourth Year, Guard, Boca Raton, Fla.​

• Averaged 19.5 points per game over a two-game stretch while shooting 50.0% from the field and 50.0% from three-point range.
• Delivered a historic performance in the win over New College of Florida, scoring a game-high 28 points in just 27 minutes.
• Set a new Keiser single-game record by knocking down nine three-pointers (9-for-13).
• Finished the game 9-for-15 from the field, showcasing elite scoring efficiency.
• Helped fuel a dominant team effort as Keiser set a program record for fewest points allowed, holding New College of Florida to 27 points.
• Played a key role on both ends of the floor during a statement conference victory.

   

Camerin James, Third Year, Guard/Forward, Apopka, Fla.​

• Averaged 17.5 points per game across two starts, leading Keiser's offensive effort for the week.
• Scored 19 points on an efficient 8-of-13 shooting (61.5%) in just 25 minutes against New College of Florida.
• Shot 48.3% from the field overall while maintaining strong offensive efficiency.
• Averaged 6.5 rebounds per game, providing consistent production on the glass.
• Pulled down seven rebounds in the win over New College.
• Delivered a balanced offensive and rebounding presence in a pair of Seahawks victories.

Both Avrach and James will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (January) award in Febuary.
