The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks Athletes of the Week on Monday. This week's winners, Elisha Edwards and Georgia Little, were recognized for their standout performances during the week of Dec. 14th.

 
Elisha Edwards, Third Year, WR, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.​

• A big part of Keiser advancing to its fourth straight NAIA National Championship Game
• Had a career-high 153 yards on eight catches versus the Yotes
• The 153 yards receiving set the school's single-game record for receiving yards in a game
• His eight catches tied a career high (8 versus St. Thomas earlier this year)
• Marked the fourth 100-yard receiving game of the season
• With the 153 yards receiving on eight catches, Edwards set the school record for receiving yards in a season (916) as well as receptions in a season (62)
• On the year, Edwards ranks No. 17 in the NAIA in receiving (83.3 yards per game) and is No. 12 in the NAIA in total receiving yards (916)

   

Georgia Little, Fourth Year, Defender, Newcastle, Austraila.​

• Key leader on Keiser's NAIA National Championship team, helping secure a 3-2 penalty kick victory after a 1-1 draw over University of the Cumberlands
• Played all 110 minutes and had four shots on goal.
• Named Defensive Player of the Tournament for her standout performance throughout the championship run
• Anchored the back line in the title match, playing a crucial role in shutting down scoring chances and forcing penalties

Both Elisha and Georgia will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (December) award in January.
