The Keiser Athletic Department announced the 2025-26 Seahawks Athletes of the Month for the month of February on Tuesday. This month's winners, sophomore swimmer
Luiza Bersi and sophomore swimmer
Isaiah Aleksenko, have been recognized for their performances during the month.
Isaiah Aleksenko, Second Year, Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands
- Named SUN Swimmer of the Year after a dominant performance at the Sun Conference Championships
- Opened the meet with a meet-record win in the 200 IM (1:46.72)
- Helped set a meet record in the 200 Medley Relay on day one
- Won the 100 Back (45.77) on day three, finishing just 0.12 seconds off the NAIA record
- Captured the 200 Fly title with a meet-record time of 1:44.09 on the final night
- Swam on four meet-record-setting relay teams, including:
- 200 Medley Relay
- 200 Free Relay
- 400 Medley Relay
- 400 Free Relay
- Finished the meet with seven SUN All-Conference honors
Luiza Bersi, Second Year, Free/IM, Sao Paolo, Brazil
- Named SUN Swimmer of the Year following a historic championship meet
- Won three individual events, all in meet-record fashion
- Claimed the 400 IM title with a meet-record time of 4:24.50
- Followed shortly after with a meet-record win in the 100 Fly (54.71)
- Closed the championship with a meet-record victory in the 200 Fly (2:01.78)
- Swam on three meet-record-setting relay teams, including:
- 800 Free Relay
- 400 Medley Relay
- 400 Free Relay
- Finished the meet with seven SUN All-Conference selections
