The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks Athletes of the Week on Monday. This week's winners, Isaiah Aleksenko and Lauren Riley, were recognized for their standout performances during the week of Dec. 7th.

 
Isaiah Aleksenko, Second Year, Fly/Back, Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands.​

• Broke three NAIA records (100 Fly, 100 Back, 400 Medley Relay).
• 100 Back: National, School, Pool, and Meet Record.
• 100 Fly: National and School Record.
• 400 Medley Relay: National, Pool, and Meet Record.
• 100 Individual Medley: School Record.
• Set two additional school records (200 IM, 200 Back).
• Won four major events: 200 IM, 100 Fly, 100 Back, and 200 Fly.
• Key relay athlete, contributing to four winning relays, including the record-breaking 400 Medley Relay.

   

Lauren Riley, Fourth Year, Forward, Staffordshire, England.​

• Scored two huge goals in the national tournament semifinal against undefeated Embry-Riddle (Ariz.), helping lead the team to the win
• Set up one of our four goals in that same semifinal match
• Assisted with the only goal in the quarterfinal game

Both Isaiah and Lauren will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (December) award in January.
