The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks HSS Athletes of the Week on Monday. This week's winners, right-hander Danny Galvan and quarterback Jazmin Rhoden were recognized for their performances during the week of April 21.

Danny Galvan, Third Year, RHP, Key West, Florida

• Galvan recorded his third complete game of the season in a 5-2 victory over the Ave Maria Gyrenes on Friday.
• The native of Key West, Florida, allowed two runs on five hits in seven innings of action to earn his sixth win of the season.
• The right-hander struck out seven Gyrenes in the Game Two victory.
• On the year, Galvan has a 6-3 record with a team-leading 3.58 ERA.
• He has struck out 83 batters (No. 2 in the conference) in 70.1 innings of action.

Jazmin Rhoden, Fourth Year, QB, Tampa, Florida

• Named this week's Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week (third time in 2024).
• Guided Keiser to two conference victories this past week as the Seahawks claimed the 2024 Sun Conference Regular Season title.
• The native of Tampa, Florida, threw for 580 yards, including a school-record 306 versus Webber Int'l on Saturday as Keiser closed out a perfect conference record for the second time in program history (8-0 in 2021).
• She threw four touchdowns (all in the first half) as the Seahawks handed Warner its first loss of the season.
• Rhoden then followed that up with a five-touchdown performance versus Webber on senior day as Keiser cruised to the victory, 40-13.
• On the week, she completed 74.1 percent of her passes.
• The Keiser signal caller finished the 2024 regular season with 2,300 passing yards, completing 67.1 percent of her attempts while tossing 40 touchdowns.

Both Galvan and Rhoden will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (April) awarded in May which will be featured on ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM).
