The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks HSS Athletes of the Week on Tuesday. This week's winners, freshman defender Timo Boomkens and junior midfielder Olivia Pousette were recognized for their performances during the week of November 19.

Timo Bookens, First Year, D, Valkenswaard, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands

• Helped Keiser advance to the NAIA final site for the fifth time in program history as the Seahawks advanced past No. 14 Florida National, 2-2 (5-4 PKs).
• Scored his third goal of the season with an 89th-minute strike to tie the game at 2-2.
• The goal allowed Keiser to improve to 4-3-2 all-time in the NAIA Second Round.
• Part of a defensive back line that held the Conquistadors to just five shots on net.
• A First-Team All-Sun Conference selection in 2023, Boomkens started in his 19th game of the season in the playoff game.
• On the year, Boomkens has recorded three goals and two assists for eight points.

Olivia Pousette, Third Year, MF, Halmstad, Sweden

• Guided the Seahawks to a 1-0 win at No. 15 College of Idaho on Saturday.
• Scored the game-winning goal, corralling a loose ball in the box to give Keiser a 1-0 lead in the 53rd minute. 
• With her goal, Keiser improved to 5-0-0 all-time in the NAIA Second Round.
• With the win, the Seahawks advanced to the NAIA final site for the 12th time.
• Named a Second-Team All-Sun Conference selection in 2023, Pousette notched two game-winning goals during the season. 
• Appearing in 21 games this season, Pousette has recorded six goals and two assists for 14 points.

Both Boomkens and Pousette will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (November) awarded in December which will be featured on ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM).
