The Keiser Athletic Department announced the 2024 Seahawks HSS Athletes of the Month for the month of January on Thursday. This month's winners, junior forward
Elise Ellison and junior forward
Vincent Miszkiewicz, have been recognized for their play during the month.
The Seahawks HHS Athletes of the Month winners will be featured on ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM).
Elise Ellison, Third Year, Forward, Lexington, Kentucky
- Guided Keiser to a 4-3 record during the month, including a 3-0 mark at home
- Averaged 11.3 point per game and 8.6 boards per contest during the month
- Recorded her seventh double-double of the season, recording 14 points and 12 rebounds as the Seahawks downed the Gyrenes, 75-66
- Shot 48.1 percent from the floor and 64.3 percent from the free-throw line
- Reached double-figures in scoring six times during the month
- Averaged 3.0 assists per game and 1.3 steals per contest
Vincent Miszkiewicz, Third Year, Forward, South Elgin, Illinois
- Guided Keiser to a 5-3 record (4-3 SUN) during the month
- Averaged 16.7 points per game and 14.3 rebounds per contest during the month
- Notched seven double-doubles in January
- Scored a season-high 33 points versus St. Thomas on January 24
- Shot 52.0 percent from the floor and converted 77.1 percent of his shots from the free-throw line
- Averaged 2.9 assists per game
- Blocked 1.9 shots per contest
