The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks HSS Athletes of the Week on Monday. This week's winners, junior forward Vincent Miszkiewicz and junior forward Taylor Jones were recognized for their performances during the week of January 7.

Vincent Miszkiewicz, Third Year, F, South Elgin, Ill.

• Guided Keiser to an 86-81 conference-opening win over Webber International on Saturday.
• Recorded 11 points, 17 rebounds, and a season-high 8 assists.
• Notched his 13th double-double of the season.
• Shot 3-of-5 from the field and was a perfect 4-of-4 from the free-throw line.
• He has now registered 15 or more rebounds in five straight games.
• Miszkiewicz also blocked a season-high three shots.
• On the year, he is averaging 16.5 points per game and 16.5 rebounds per contest.

Taylor Jones, Third Year, Bloomingdale, Ohio

• Jones recorded her third double-double of the season, leading the Seahawks to an impressive 98-79 win over the Webber Int'l Warriors on Saturday.
• The native of Bloomingdale, Ohio shot 50.0 percent from the floor, marking the eighth time this season the forward shot 50 percent or better.
• She also converted 77.8 percent of her attempts from the free-throw line.
• Jones has shot 70 percent or better in each of the last five games (in which she went to the charity stripe).
• On the year, Jones is averaging 8.9 points per game and 7.1 rebounds per contest. She currently ranks No. 5 in the Sun Conference in rebounding.

Both Miszkiewicz and Jones will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (January) awarded in February which will be featured on ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM).
