The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks HSS Athletes of the Week on Monday. This week's winners, freshman point guard Calvin Sirmans and sophomore swimmer Rachel Bradley were recognized for their performances during the week of December 3.

Calvin Sirmans, First Year, G, Lake Worth, Fla.

• Guided Keiser to a 2-0 record this past week.
• Averaged 22.0 points per game on 43.8 percent shooting from the floor.
• Sirmans did not leave the floor during both of Keiser's wins on the week.
• On the road against Fort Lauderdale, he scored 19 second-half points on 50% shooting. 
• Three days later, Sirmans was a key piece to Keiser's win over No. 18 The Master's.
• With the Seahawks' leading scorer out for the second half, the first-year point guard took control of the game and hit clutch free throws down the stretch to lead KU to their first ranked win of the season. 
• On the week, Sirmans led the team in points, assists, steals and minutes. With 10 assists on the week, he now sits 12th in the NAIA in assists per game at 5.9 per game.

Rachel Bradley, Second Year, Stockton On Tees, England

• Competed in six individual events for the Seahawks at the 2023 Zippy Invitational, scoring 76 points.
• Also competed in four relay events. 
• Placed ninth in the 500 Free, recording a school-record time of 4:57.12 - an NAIA A Standard.
• She also set another Keiser record in the 400 IM, placing ninth with a time of 4:24.86 - another NAIA A Standard.
• Her third NAIA A Standard came in the 1650 Free as the second-year Seahawk scored a time of 17:20.62 (seventh place). 
• She notched an NAIA provisional time in the 200 Back with a 2:03.76.
• On the year, Bradley ranks No. 2 in the NAIA in the 200 Free, No. 1 in the NAIA in the 500 Free, No. 1 in the NAIA in the 1000 Free, No. 1 in the NAIA in the 1650 Free, No. 2 in the NAIA in the 200 Back, and No. 1 in the NAIA in the 400 IM.

Both Sirmans and Bradley will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (December) awarded in January which will be featured on ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM).
