The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks HSS Athletes of the Week on Wednesday. This week's winners, junior infielder Simon Grinberg and sophomore Violet Apisah were recognized for their performances during the week of March 3.

Simon Grinberg, Third Year, Infielder, Kitchener, Ontario

• Named Sun Conference Player of the Week.
• Grinberg finished the week with a team-best three home runs and nine RBI in a three-game series with Concordia (Neb.).
• He posted all nine RBI during Saturday's doubleheader, including a grand slam in the bottom of the ninth in game one to pull Keiser to within one.
• He finished the day with a three-hit, four-RBI game in the second contests on Saturday.
• On the year, Grinberg is hitting .365 with seven home runs and 24 RBI.

Violet Apisah, Second Year, Sydney, Australia

• Named Sun Conference Player of the Week.
• Guided the Seahawks to back-to-back sweeps over Palm Beach Atlantic and No. 7 St. Thomas.
• Playing alongside her sister Patricia Apisah in doubles, the pair won 6-2 against PBA and 6-0 against STU.
• In singles play, Violet continued to dominate, winning 6-2, 6-0 against the Sailfish before putting up a 6-0, 6-0 mark on court one against the Bobcats.

Both Grinberg and Apisah will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (March) awarded in April which will be featured on ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM).
