The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks HSS Athletes of the Week on Monday. This week's winners, junior forward Vincent Miszkiewicz  and freshman thrower Ezarya Dale were recognized for their performances during the week of January 21.

Vincent Miszkiewicz, Third Year, F, South Elgin, Ill.

• Guided the Seahawks to a 1-1 record on the week.
• Continued to keep his double-double streak alive which now spans 17 games, tied for sixth-most in Keiser program history.
• Saturday marked the 11th time that he totaled more than 15 rebounds in a game. 
• He continues to lead the NAIA in rebounding and has climbed up to third in the Sun Conference in field goal percentage as well as total blocks.
• Averaged 18.5 points per game and 16.5 rebounds per contest last week.
• Shot 52.0 percent from the floor and was 10-of-16 from the free-throw line.
• Also dished out five assists, recorded two steals and five blocked shots.

Ezarya Dale, First Year, Throws, Fort Myers, Fla.

• Made Keiser history in her first meet of the new year.
• Set the program record in the shot put, surpassing Kehtura Merrick's record that had previously stood for 10 years.
• Posted a mark of 12.31m in the shot put to place fifth at the RADD Sports Invitational.
• The mark currently ranks No. 36 in the nation and top in the conference.
• Also set the school record in weight throw producing a throw of 14.22m.
• The throw of 14.22m currently tops the league.

Both Miszkiewicz and Dale will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (January) awarded in February which will be featured on ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM).
