The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks HSS Athletes of the Week on Monday. This week's winners, junior running back Jaden Meizinger and junior guard Halle Traylor were recognized for their performances during the week of November 26.

Jaden Meizinger, Third Year, RB, Port St. Lucie, Florida

• Led Keiser to a 45-21 win over No. 13 St. Thomas in the NAIA FCS Second Round on Saturday.
• Rushed for a career-high 245 yards on 27 carries.
• Scored two rushing touchdowns in the game to increase his season total to 18 (second most in a single season at Keiser).
• Part of a rushing attack that posted a school-record 383 yards versus the Bobcats. 
• Named the NAIA Second Round Outstanding Offensive Player of the Game.
• With the win, Keiser improved to 26-4 all-time in at the Keiser Multi-Purpose Field.
• The win also improved the Seahawks to 6-0 all-time versus the Bobcats.
• Reached 1,000 yards for the season for the second straight year. 
• On the season, has rushed for 1,167 yards with 18 touchdowns while averaging 6.0 yards per carry.

Halle Traylor, Third Year, G, Tupelo, Miss.

• Named this week's Sun Conference Player of the Week (her second of the season).
• Had another solid week averaging over 20 points per game while shooting over 60 percent from the floor as Keiser finished the week 2-0.
• Currently third in the conference in scoring, Traylor has scored in double-figures in four straight games, including two this past week.
• Led the Seahawks to a 21-point win over Florida National on Tuesday, November 20, shooting 50.0 percent from the floor. 
• The following day, the Tupelo, Mississippi, native added 24 points as the Seahawks recorded their highest point total in 10 years (110) - the most scored by a Keiser team since December 31, 2013 (116 versus Olivet Nazarene). 
• For the week, Traylor was a perfect 12-of-12 from the free-throw line and has made 30 straight for the charity stripe.
• She added 11 assists on the week, recording a season-high eight at Fort Lauderdale.
• On the year, Traylor is averaging 16.6 points per game on 42.6 percent shooting and is second in the conference in assists, averaging 4.4 per game.

Both Meizinger and Traylor will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (November) awarded in December which will be featured on ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM).
