The Keiser Athletic Department announced the 2023 Seahawks HSS Athletes of the Month for the month of December on Tuesday. This month's winners, sophomore swimmer
Rachel Bradley and junior running back
Jaden Meizinger, have been recognized for their play during the month.
The Seahawks HHS Athletes of the Month winners will be featured on ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM).
Rachel Bradley, Second Year, Stockton On Tee, England
- Was the Seahawk's top swimmer at the Zippy Invitational, scoring 76 points.
- Part of an 800 Free Relay Team that posted an NAIA A Standard with a time of 1:51.74
- Finished ninth in the 500 Free with an A Standard time of 4:57.12.
- Recorded an NAIA A Standard in the 1650 Free with a time of 17:20.62.
- Notched an NAIA B Standard in the 400 Medley Relay (57.42).
- Registered a time of 2:03.76 in the 200 Back (NAIA B Standard), finishing 14th.
- Had an A Standard in the 400 IM (4:24.86), placing ninth.
- Holds top time in the NAIA in 200 Free (No. 2 - 1:51.74), 500 Free (No. 1 - 4:57.12), 1000 Free (No. 1 - 10:35.90), 1650 Free (No. 1 - 17:20.62), 100 IM (No. 4 - 1:01.47), 400 IM (No. 1 - 4:24.86).
Jaden Meizinger, Third Year, RB, Port St. Lucie, Fla.
- Led Keiser to its first NAIA National Championship.
- Named the NAIA Most Outstanding Offensive Player of the Game in the Quarterfinals and the National Championship Games.
- Rushed for 473 yards on 64 carries, recording five rushing touchdowns.
- Notched 126 yards and two touchdowns as Keiser defeated Bethel (Tenn.) in the NAIA Quarterfinals.
- Had two rushing TDs on 20 carries, producing 86 yards on the ground to send the Seahawks to their second straight National Championship Game.
- Recorded a career-high 261 yards and one touchdown as Keiser hoisted the Red Banner in a 31-21 win over Northwestern (Iowa).
