The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks HSS Athletes of the Week on Wednesday. This week's winners, freshman jumper Will Hill and sophomore tennis player Violet Apisah were recognized for their performances during the week of April 14.

Will Hill, First Year, Jumps, Durham, North Carolina

• Named Sun Conference Field Athlete of the Week.
• The freshman placed first in the high jump at this past weekend's Keiser U Twilight Invitational with a 2.05m jump that currently ranks 10th in the nation. 
• This mark also earned him an A-standard qualification for nationals and is the second best mark in Keiser history.
• Hill also placed 3rd overall in the long jump with a personal best of 6.94m.

Violet Apisah, Second Year, Sydney, Australia

• Named HSS Athlete of the Week for the second straight week.
• Continued her strong run of play with three more wins added to her career total.
• On Friday, the Seahawks clinched their seventh straight Sun Conference title before finishing their undefeated run on Saturday.
• On the year, Apisah has tallied a 23-4 individual overall record (14-2 dual, 6-0 in conference).
• In doubles play, the second year tennis player has posted a 27-6 overall record (16-2 dual, 7-0 conference).

Both Hill and Apisah will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (April) awarded in May which will be featured on ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM).
