The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks HSS Athletes of the Week on Monday. This week's winners, freshman forward Mikael Baisotti and junior midfielder Olivia Pousette were recognized for their performances during the week of October 22.

Mikael Baisotti, First Year Year, F, Bergen, Norway

• Baisotti scored a pair of game-winners on the road this past week as Keiser improved to 8-1-3 in Sun Conference action.
• The first-year Seahawk broke a scoreless draw with his 10th goal of the season in the 29th minute as Keiser would go on to win the game at Ave Maria, 1-0.
• Three days earlier, Baisotti notched the go-ahead goal in the 74th minute as Keiser downed Southeastern in Lakeland, 2-1.
• On the year, Baisotti has recorded 10 goals and two assists for 22 points.
• His 10 goals are second in the conference, and he is tied for second the SUN in total points with teammate Aldair Chavez.

Olivia Pousette, Third Year, MF, Halmstad, Sweden

• Down a goal at home to the No. 12 team in the NAIA, Olivia Pousette stepped up in a big way for the Seahawks.   
• In the 33rd minute, she placed herself at the end of a cross and guided her shot off the post and into the net to tie the game.
• In the 76th, Pousette received the ball at the edge of the box and guided a shot under the outstretched arms of the keeper to give Keiser the win.
• The junior midfielder also took the field and helped the Seahawks shut out the Ave Maria Gyrenes, 2-0, as Keiser increased its unbeaten streak to six games (5-0-1).

Both Baisotti and Pousette will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (October) awarded in November which will be featured on ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM).
