The Keiser Athletic Department announced the 2023 Seahawks HSS Athletes of the Month for the month of November on Tuesday. This month's winners, junior guard
Halle Traylor and junior running back
Jaden Meizinger, have been recognized for their play during the month.
The Seahawks HHS Athletes of the Month winners will be featured on ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM).
Halle Traylor, Third Year, G, Tupelo, Miss.
- A two-time Sun Conference Player of the Week during the month of November.
- Started in all five games for the Seahawks during the month.
- Helped lead the Seahawks to a 3-2 record during the month.
- Averaged 18.6 points per game during the month, shooting 50.0 percent from the floor.
- Converted 36-of-38 attempts from the free-throw line during November.
- Averaged 4.6 assists per game and 4.2 rebounds per contest during the month.
- Scored a career-high 29 points to lead Keiser to a 101-62 victory over Florida National.
- Her performance guided Keiser as the Seahawks scored 100 points for the first time since December 21, 2019 (101-82 win vs. Bethel College).
- On the year, she is averaging 15.8 points per game and 4.3 rebounds per contest.
- She is shooting 38.1 percent from the floor and 84.5 percent from the free-throw line.
Jaden Meizinger, Third Year, RB, Port St. Lucie, Fla.
- Guided Keiser to a 3-0 record during the month.
- Rushed for 470 yards and five touchdowns during the month of November.
- Averaged 7.8 yards per carry.
- Produced 163 yards on 21 carries with two touchdowns at Florida Memorial (November 11).
- His performance led the Seahawks to their fifth straight conference title.
- Led Keiser to a 45-21 win over No. 13 St. Thomas in the NAIA FCS Second Round on Saturday.
- Rushed for a career-high 245 yards on 27 carries.
- Scored two rushing touchdowns in the game to increase his season total to 18 (second most in a single season at Keiser).
- Part of a rushing attack that posted a school-record 383 yards versus the Bobcats.
- Named the NAIA Second Round Outstanding Offensive Player of the Game.
