edThe Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks HSS Athletes of the Week on Tuesday. This week's winners, freshman jumper Will Hill and senior tennis player Katie Visnevscaia were recognized for their performances during the week of February 18.

Will Hill, First Year, Jumps, Durham, North Carolina

• Named the Sun Conference Indoor Freshman of the Year.
• Helped Keiser to a third-place finish at the 2024 Sun Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships.
• Claimed the Sun Conference championship in the high jump, posting a mark of 2.00m.
• His mark ranks 36th in the nation.
• Also placed fifth in the long jump to earn All-Sun Conference honors.
• Posted a mark of 6.62m in the long jump.

Katie Visnevscaia, Fourth Year, Chisinau, Moldova

• Named Sun Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week.
• Helped the Seahawks take down Division II, No. 4 Flagler, and improve to 3-1 on the season.
• Visnevscaia began the day pairing with Vanja Vidanovic as they took the first win in doubles on court two, defeating half of the No. 7 ranked Division II team in 
• Nadja Meier and Antonia Pfeiffer, 6-3.
• She then was the final court in action on the day in singles with the score tied at 3-3. Visnevscaia pulled through with a 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 win over Dana Heimen.

Both Hill and Visnevscaia will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (February) awarded in March which will be featured on ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM).
