The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks Athletes of the Week on Wednesday. This week's winners, freshman golfer Adam Buchanan and sophomore golfer Mohea Mansbendel, were recognized for their performances during the week of May 4.

Adam Buchanan, First Year, Ballyclare, Northern Ireland

• Led Keiser to the Sun Conference Tournament title
• Won the first tournament of his career, shooting an 8-under, 208
• The Sun Conference medalist honor was just the second for the Seahawks all-time (Javier Neira Garcia - 2022)
• Buchanan shot under par on Par 5s and Par 4s to maintain his lead all three days
• The first-year Seahawk has now posted four top-5 finishes this season
• Notched 38 par putts and 12 birdies
• On the year, Buchanan has registered an adjusted scoring average of 70.8 and is ranked No. 12 in the nation (clippd)

 Mohea Mansbendel, First Year, Noumea, New Caledonia

• Guided the Seahawks to their third straight Sun Conference Tournament Championship
• Claimed her third medalist honor of the season and the eighth Sun Conference individual title in program history
• Shot a 5-over, 221
• It marked the third straight year a Seahawk had taken the top spot in the league tournament
• Shot 2-under on Par 5s while recording 32 par putts and tournament-best nine birdies
• On the season, Mansbendel has five top-5 finishes with three tournament wins
• Has posted an adjusted scoring average of 73.4 and is ranked No. 12 in the nation (clippd)

Both Mansbendel and Buchanan will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (April) award in May.
