The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks Athletes of the Week on Tuesday. This week's winners, freshman distance runner Yanis Le Mouillour and junior attacker MacKenzie Gibaud, were recognized for their performances during the week of March 23.

Yanis Le Mouillour, Freshman, Queven, France

• Named this week's Sun Conference Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week
• Le Mouillor placed first overall in the men's 800m, with a 1:51.73 time in a loaded field of competition including NCAA DI and DII athletes
• This mark gave him a B-standard qualification for NAIA Nationals
• This is the first weekly conference award of outdoor season for Le Mouillour
• His 800m time currently ranks 2nd in the NAIA, and is a Keiser program record

MacKenzie Gibaud, Third Year, A, Rochester, N.Y.

• Named this week's Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week
• The award marks the first weekly honor of Gibaud's career
• Helped the Seahawks to wins over Division III Farmingdale State and No. 10 Life
• Tallied seven goals and added an assist
• Against the Running Eagles, she contributed to 40 percent of the Keiser offensive production with five goals and an assist
• Her 25 goals this season are already one short of her season-best mark

Both Gibaud and Le Mouillour will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (March) award in April.
