The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks Athletes of the Week on Tuesday. This week's winners, senior attacker Kegan Hufford and senior women's golfer Carolin Alblas, were recognized for their performances during the week of April 13.

Kegan Hufford Fourth Year, A, Lakewood, Colo.

• Named this week's AAC Offensive Player of the Week
• It marked the first weekly honor of Hufford's career and the first of the season
• Guided Keiser to a 17-16 win over No. 1 Webber Int'l in the regular-season finale
• Had a historical night in a 17-16 win over No. 1 Webber International, as he notched a career-high six goals
• He also notched the game-winner
• This season Hufford's tallied 15 goals and 10 assists. He's also collected 14 groundballs and five caused-turnovers

Carolin Alblas, Fourth Year, Neuss, Germany

• Named the Sun Conference Women's Golfer of the Week
• It marked the first award of the season for Alblas and the second of her Keiser career
• Earned the second individual title of the season and her career, shooting a career-low 208 (71-67-70)
• With an 8-under, Alblas recorded the second-lowest, 54-hole score in Keiser history
• She led the Seahawks to their fifth tournament title with a 5-under, 859, at the Music City Classic in Old Hickory, Tennessee, last week
• Shot a 3-under on Par 3s, 1-under on Par 4s, and 4-under on Par 5s
• Carded a tournament-best 14 birdies and one eagle
• On the year, Alblas has recorded an adjusted scoring average of 72.0 and is ranked No. 4 in the nation (clippd)

Both Alblas and Hufford will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (April) award in May.
