The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks Athletes of the Week on Tuesday. This week's winners, junior forward Jasmyn Hale and senior forward Vincent Miszkiewicz were recognized for their performances during December 16 through January 5.

Vincent Miszkiewicz, Fourth Year, F, South Elgin, Ill.

• Named the Sun Conference Defensive Player of the Week (fourth time this season)
• Guided the Seahawks to a 3-1 record during the break
• Miszkiewicz averaged 14.5 points, 15.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game during the last four games
• Notched three double-doubles during that time
• Recorded his second 20-point outing with 20 points versus Hastings
• In the win over New College of Florida, he brought down a new career-high with 23 rebounds
• He also tied his own program record for defensive rebounds in a game with 19
• Miszkiewicz is up to second in the NAIA in rebounds per game at 13.0 per contest
• He also ranks fifth in the NAIA in blocks with 30

Jasmyn Hale, Third Year, F, Shakoopee, Minn.

• Finished the winter break averaging 10.7 points per game and 10.0 rebounds per contest
• Recorded a Keiser career-high 15 rebounds versus Huntington en route to the first double-double of her Seahawks career, scoring 12 points
• Followed that performance with her second double-double in as many games, with 11 points and 10 boards versus Olivet Nazarene
• Shot an impressive 71.4 percent from the floor (5-of-7) versus the Tigers
• Helped Keiser to a blowout victory over New College of Florida, shooting 57.1 percent from the field in 22 minutes of action
• On the year, Hale is averaging 8.2 points per game and 5.6 rebounds per contest
• She is shooting 51.8 percent from the floor while leading the team in steals (23)

Both Miszkiewicz and Hale will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (December) award in January.
