The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks Athletes of the Week on Tuesday. This week's winners, freshman runner Yanis Le Mouillour and senior thrower Niesha Aldajuste, were recognized for their performances during the week of February 16.

Yanis Le Mouillour, First Year, Distance, Vannes, France

• Named the 2025 Men's Indoor Sun Conference Freshman of the Year
• Took home three gold medals in the 1000m, the 4x800, and the Distance Medley Relay
• Also took home silver medals in the mile run and the 800m
• Set the conference and school record in the 1000m with a time of 2:29.74
• Helped the Distance Medley Relay claim gold while setting the SUN and school record with a time of 10:17.68
• Posted school records in the 4x800 Relay (7:49.43) and the 800m (1:58.95)
• Finished second in the mile run with a time of 4:17.63

Niesha Aldajuste, Fourth Year, Throws, Coral Springs, Fla.

• Earned the third Sun Conference Championship of her career
• Took first in the Weight Throw with a distance of 17.41
• The mark was an A Standard
• Broke her own school and conference record with the throw
• Her distance is currently the seventh-best in the nation
• Her previous record was 16.60m (2/7/2025)
• She is now a two-time indoor Weight Throw Champion and an outdoor Hammer Throw Champion

Both Aldajuste and Le Mouillour will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (February) award in March.
