The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks Athletes of the Week on Monday. This week's winners, freshman swimmer Jake Hutchinson and junior forward Lauren Riley were recognized for their performances during the week of October 20.

Jake Hutchinson, First Year, Ellesmere, England

• Posted 18 points during Keiser's dual meet at Florida Atlantic
• Picked up four wins in the dual
• Won the 100 Fly with a time of 48.24 (A standard) - top time in the NAIA
• His time in the 100 Fly was a personal best
• Claimed the top spot in the 100 Back with a mark of 49.43 - top time in the NAIA
• Part of two relay wins - 200 Medley (1:32.00); 400 Free (3:02.91)
• Currently ranks No. 2 in the NAIA behind teammate Noel De Geus

Lauren Riley, Third Year, F, Staffordshire, England

• Led Keiser to a 2-0 overall mark and a 1-0 record in Sun Conference action 
• Registered two goals and two assists this week
• Scored the opening goal for KU in each of the last three games
• Opened the week with a goal and an assist in a 3-0 win at Ave Maria  
• Added another goal and an assist as Keiser shut out New College of Florida, 6-0
• Notched both game-winners on the week
• She now leads the Seahawks with 11 goals this season and six goals in six Sun Conference games

Both Hutchinson and Riley will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (October) award in November.
