The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks Athletes of the Week on Tuesday. This week's winners, senior attacker Kegan Hufford and sophomore safety Ashlea Klam, were recognized for their performances during the week of April 20.

Kegan Hufford Fourth Year, A, Lakewood, Colo.

• Led the Seahawks to a 19-9 win over Point in the AAC Quarterfinals
• Recorded a career-high in points with seven
• Scored five goals and tallied two assists
• Netted four goals in the first half alone
• Took a total of eight shots with six of them on net
• It marked Hufford's second straight game with five-or-more points
• On the year, Hufford has recorded 32 points with 20 goals and 12 assists

Ashlea Klam, Second Year, S, Austin, Texas

• Was named a Second-Team All-Sun Conference selection at safety 
• Led Keiser to its second consecutive Sun Conference Tournament title
• Finished the weekend producing for the Seahawks on both sides of the ball
• Caught seven passes for 113 yards and one touchdown during the tournament
• Registered three interceptions, including one for at touchdown on the weekend
• Picked off a pass and returned it 75 yards for a score in the championship game
• Also, scored on 15-yard touchdown from Haylie Young in the 33-15 win over Thomas  
• On the year, Klam has recorded 15 touchdown catches and 848 yards receiving. She leads the nation in interceptions with 14

Both Klam and Hufford will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (April) award in May.
