The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks Athletes of the Week on Tuesday. This week's winners, junior running back Andrew Burnette and junior outside hitter Mckenzie Pryor were recognized for their performances during the week of October 27.

Andrew Burnette, Third Year, RB, Jensen Beach, Fla.

• Named this week's Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week 
• Posted a career-high 172 yards on 10 carries, including three rushing touchdowns to lead Keiser to a 52-17 win at Thomas (Ga.)
• The junior running back had explosive runs of 32 and 76 yards to register his second three-touchdown game of the season.
• Has now found the endzone in five straight games for the Seahawks
• Averaging 104.17 yards per game this season, Burnette is second in the Sun Conference in rushing
• His play helped Keiser extend the nation's longest winning streak to 17 games while moving the Seahawks to 16-0 all-time in Sun Conference action and 36-3 in conference play (SUN & MSC)
• On the year, Burnette has rushed for 625 yards on 92 carries with nine rushing touchdowns
• His 625 yards on the ground ranks No. 26 in the nation while his per game average is good for No. 13

Mackenzie Pryor, Third Year, OH, Hagerstown, Md.

• Named the Sun Conference Attacker of the Week for the eighth time this season
• Led Keiser to a 3-1 victory over Southeastern
• Produced 21 kills in the four-set match
• Hit .263 on 57 attempts
• She now has 518 kills this season, the first NAIA player to reach the 500-mark this year
• Pryor sits second in the nation in kills per set with 5.12

Both Burnette and Pryor will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (October) award in November.
