The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks HSS Athletes of the Week on Tuesday. This week's winners, sophomore Cole Wilson and freshman Hoi Ki Lau were recognized for their performances during the week of May 28.

Cole Wilson, So., Burgessville, Ontario Canada.

• The sophomore capped an outstanding 2023 season by becoming an All-American and finishing third at NAIA nationals in the men's decathlon. 
• Wilson's decathlon score (6835) ranks second in Keiser program history. 
• The score of 6835 was a personal-best.
• Also recorded PRs in 100m (11.11) and shot put (13.09m).
• Finished first in the high jump (1.97m).
• The Canadian was also an All-American decathlete in 2022. 
• Wilson became a national champion in the 2023 NAIA indoor heptathlon.

Hoi Ki Lau, Fr., Hong Kong  

• Recorded her sixth top-5 finish of the season at the NAIA National Championship.
• Brought her season stroke average to a team-best 74.48.
• Recorded 49 par putts.
• Carded four birdies.
• Finished the NAIA Tournament with her seventh top-10 finish of the year.
• Currently ranked No. 2 by GolfStat.
• The 2023 Sun Conference Golfer and Freshman of the Year was Keiser's HSS Athlete of the Month in April.

Both Wilson and Lau will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (May) awarded in June which will be featured on ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM).
