The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks HSS Athletes of the Week on Monday. This week's winners, senior infielder Alejandro Macario and junior attacker Chloe Foley were recognized for their performances during the week of May 7.

Alejandro Macario, Sr., INF, Caracas, Venezuela

• Guided Keiser to a 2-2 mark in the Sun Conference Baseball Tournament.
• Named to the Sun Conference All-Tournament Team.
• Hit .467 with two RBI and five runs scored.
• Posted a .933 slugging percentage with two triples and a home run.
• Drew three walks and reach base via a hit-by-pitch two times.
• Named a Second-Team All-Sun Conference selection this season.
• Finished the year, batting a team-best .407 with 11 home runs and 52 RBI.
• Led the Seahawks with five triples, producing a slugging percentage of .702.
• Stole 13 bases on 18 attempts this season.

Chloe Foley, Jr., A, Osceola, Ind.

• Led the Seahawks to the NAIA National Tournament Semifinals.
• Scored the game-winning goal versus No. 8 Benedictine (Kan.) with 12 seconds left in the game.
• Posted a career-best six goals versus the Ravens.
• Also assisted on a goal for seven total points in the game.
• She scored both the first and last goals of the game.
• Led Keiser with 10 total shots (seven on net).
• Named a Second-Team All-Sun Conference selection in 2023. 
• Tallied 35 goals and 10 assists for 46 points this season.
• Recorded three game-winning goals during the 2023 campaign.
• Registered 19 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers.

Both Macario and Foley will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (May) awarded in June which will be featured on ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM).
