The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks HSS Athletes of the Week on Monday. This week's winners, freshman swimmer Aaron Wilmes and freshman forward Lauren Riley, were recognized for their play during the week of December 4.

Aaron Wilmes, Fr., Rosbach v.d.H., Hessen, Germany

• Helped Keiser set 14 school records at the four-day Zippy Invitational this past weekend.
• Placed first in the 500 Free on Friday with a time of 4:25.52
• His result in the 500 Free was a school record.
• Posted a 15:13.49 first-place finish in the 1650 Free
• His time in the 1650 Free broke the meet and pool records at Akron.
• It also set the school and national records.

Lauren Riley, Fr., F, Staffordshire, England

• Helped Keiser reached the NAIA National Semifinals for the sixth time in program history.
• Notched the game-winning goal with a strike in the 77th minute in KU's 1-0 win over Aquinas in the quarterfinals.
• The goal was her 12th of the season.
• Gave Keiser a 2-1 lead versus Spring Arbor, scoring her 13th goal of the season in the 52nd minute.
• Riley finished the season with 13 goals and three assists for 44 points in her first season as a Seahawk.

Both Wilmes and Riley will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (December) awarded in early January which will be featured on ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM).
