The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks HSS Athletes of the Week on Monday. This week's winners,freshman goalkeeper Christian Tomei and freshman golfer Hoi Ki Lau were recognized for their performances during the week of April 30.

Christian Tomei, Fr., GK, Jupiter, Florida

• Guided the Seahawks to their first AAC Tournament title on Saturday.
• Named tournament MVP.
• Set the school record for saves with 20 versus No. 6 Cumberlands (Ky.) in the championship game.
• Recorded 17 saves in a 10-2 win over No. 3 Webber Int'l in the Semifinals on Friday.
• Named AAC Defensive Player of the Year.
• On the season, the Jupiter, Florida, native has recorded a program-record 171 saves.
• Leads the AAC in save percentage (69.0)
• His save percentage this season is currently the best in program history. 
• Set the school record for wins in a season (14).

Hoi Ki Lau, Fr., Hong Kong

• Helped the Seahawks win their seventh Sun Conference Tournament title.
• Claimed her third tournament win of the season, shooting even-par. 
• Named Sun Conference Golfer of the Year and Sun Conference Freshman of the Year.
• Became the first Seahawks to win both awards in the same season.
• Her individual tournament title was the sixth conference medalist honor in program history.
• Appeared in 10 events for the Seahawks for a total of 29 rounds.
• Named Sun Conference Women's Golfer of the Week two times (March 13 & April 3).
• Awarded NAIA Women's Golfer of the Week (March 13).
• Placed in the top-10 six times during the 2022-23 season, including five top-5 finishes and three tournament wins.
• Registered a season stroke average of 74.45.
• Currently ranked No. 5 by GolfStat.

Both Tomei and Lau will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (April) awarded in May which will be featured on ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM).
