The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks HSS Athletes of the Week on Tuesday. This week's winners, sophomore golfer Jakob Stavang Stubhaug and junior running back Emma Wagenman were recognized for their play during the week of April 9.

Jakob Stavang Stubhaug, So., Floroe, Norway

• Named this week's Sun Conference Men's Golfer of the Week.
• Claimed his second individual title of the season at last week's Roadrunner Classic in Rocky Face, Georgia.
• The second-year Seahawks shot a 5-under, 211, to help lead the No. 1-ranked Keiser men's golf team to its fifth tournament title of the 2022-23 campaign.
• Stavang Stubhaug led a field of 66 golfers from 12 teams (all ranked in the NAIA Men's Golf Top 25 - including eight in the Top 10).
• He won the event by five strokes, shooting under par in each round. 
• Posted his fifth top-5 finish of the year.
• Shot a four-under on Par 5s and was one-under on Par 4s.
• Recorded a team-best 37 par putts and 11 birdies.
• With three rounds under-par, Stavang Stubhaug increased his season total to 16 rounds at par or under-par (26 rounds played total).
•  He lowered his season stroke average to 71.42. 
• He is currently ranked No. 3 in the NAIA by GolfStat.

Emma Wagenman, Jr., RB, Loxahatchee, Florida

• Wagenman recorded a season-high 93 yards in the team's 33-18 win over Florida Memorial on Thursday. 
• The native of Loxahatchee, Florida, also registered two receiving touchdowns to up her season total to six (tied for the team lead). 
• Her seven catches were tied for the team lead in the game.
• On the year, Wagenman has recorded 43 catches for 385 yards and six touchdowns.
• Her play helped the Seahawks improve to 6-0 all-time versus the Lions and 21-4 all-time in Sun Conference action.

Both Stavang Stubhaug and Wagenman will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (April) awarded in May which will be featured on ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM).
