The Keiser Athletic Department announced its Seahawks Athletes of the Week on Monday. This week's winners, senior forward
Lucas Jacobs and sophomore setter
Hannah Heide, were recognized for their play during the week of September 25.
Lucas Jacobs, Sr., F, Breda, Netherlands
- Jacobs was named SUN Offensive Player of the Week.
- The senior notched his 4th goal of the season, two of them being against Warner on Saturday for the first SUN matchup of the season.
- Both of the goals from Jacobs were in the 52nd minute of the match.
- In the match, Jacobs recorded 2 assists as well (6 points).
- He has started in every game for the Seahawks.
- Jacobs also has registered 4 assists in the season and 19 in his career.
Hannah Heide, So., S, Jupiter, Florida
- Heide served up 90 assists, five kills, seven blocks, and 19 digs in two matches this past week.
- On the season, she has recorded 40+ assists in nine matches.
- This is the third week in a row that Heide has been honored as Setter of the Week.
- The sophomore from Jupiter, Florida is currently third in Keiser program history for career assists. (2333)
- Heide is currently leading the Sun Conference and the NAIA in total assists. (971)
Both Jacobs and Heide will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (September) awarded in early October which will be featured on ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM).
