The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks HSS Athletes of the Week on Tuesday. This week's winners, freshman attacker AJ Badik and freshman jumper Aiana Colas were recognized for their performances during the week of May 14.

AJ Badik, Fr., Attacker, Orlando, Florida

• Led Keiser to the program's first National Championship.
• Named the NAIA Men's Lacrosse National Invitational Tournament's Most Outstanding Player.
• Also named to the NAIA All-Tournament Team.
• Scored a career-high eight goals in the championship game versus Indiana Tech.
• His eight goals  the most scored by a Seahawk in the NAIA Men's Lacrosse Invitational and were tied for the second-most in KU history (Craig Marentette – Tennessee Wesleyan – 3/11/17; Dylan Sharpe – Webber Int'l – 4/10/21). 
• Finished the tournament with 13 goals and three assists for 16 points.

Aiana Colas, Fr., Jumps, Strasbourg, France

• Took first place in the high jump at the Bobcats Last Chance Meet last weekend .
• Recorded a mark of 1.57m to earn Keiser 10 points. 
• Produced her eighth mark of 1.5m-or-better this season.
• Currently owns the second-best jump in the The Sun Conference (1.63m recorded in last month's Hurricane Alumni Invitational).
• The first-place finish was Colas' fourth in the high jump this outdoor season.
• Owns a PR in the high jump of 1.64m, recorded at the 2023 Sun Conference Indoor Championships.

Both Badik and Colas will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (May) awarded in June which will be featured on ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM).
