The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks HSS Athletes of the Week on Monday. This week's winners, freshman Noel De Geus and senior Camryn Hudson were recognized for their play during the week of February 12.

Noel De Geus, Fr., Hildesheim, Germany

• Named the Swimmer of the Year at the 2023 Sun Conference Swimming and Diving tournament.
• Won two gold and one silver medal in the championship.
• In the 50 free, he placed second and recorded a time of 20.49 on Thursday.
• In the 100 breast, De Geus placed first as he registered a time of 54.67, swimming past Inigo Marina and Alex Kusik.
• He swam his best in the 200 breast with a time of 1:59.90 as he placed first.

Camryn Hudson, Sr., Boynton Beach, Fla.

• Named 2023 Co-SUN Swimmer of the Year. 
• She scored a total of 57 throughout the championship.
• Hudson won two gold medals and a silver medal.
• She competed in the 100 free and registered a time of 50.61 as she set her personal best and placed first.
• She swam her season best in the 200 IM, she registered a time of 2:04.61 scoring 20 points and took first place.

Both De Geus and Hudson will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (February) awarded in early March which will be featured on ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM).
