The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week's Seahawks Athletes of the Week on Tuesday. This week's winners, Iker Prados Molina and Mio Tanaka, were recognized for their standout performances during the week of September 6th.
Iker Prados Molina, First Year, Barcelona, Spain
- Earned his first Sun Runner of the Week honor this season
- Broke the Keiser school record in the men's 5K
- Clocked a time of 15:22.67, shattering the previous mark of 16:22.3 set last year by Gorata Gabankitse
- Finished 2nd overall out of a field spanning nine teams
- Was the top individual finisher for the Seahawks at the meet
- Provided a major individual highlight as Keiser's men closed out the week

Mio Tanaka, Fourth Year, GK, Himeji, Japan
- This award marks the first of her career for Tanaka
- Went 2-0-1 in goal this week as No. 1 Keiser stayed unbeaten
- Made a season-high four saves in a 1-1 draw with No. 8 William Carey
- Recorded her first shutout of the season in a 2-0 win over Carroll (Mont.)
- Blanked Ave Maria 4-0 without needing to make a save
- Eighth career clean sheet at Keiser
- Has played every minute (360) in net so far this season

Both Prados Molina and Tanaka will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (August) award in September.Â
