Ojaniemi picked up back-to-back All-American honors after capturing First Team recognition following the 2012 campaign. Matilda posted a 14-1-2 record between the pipes for Northwood, with a 1.03 Goals against Average, a .727 save percentage, 48 saves and five shutouts.
As a junior, Ojaniemi (Kalmar, Sweden) was selected as a First Team All-American. Ojaniemi becomes the second player in Northwood women's soccer history to be named a First Team All-American. During the 2012 season, Ojaniemi posted a record of 10-4-1, with a Goals against Average of 1.14, a .718 save percentage and eight shutouts. Ojaniemi was named an All-American Honorable Mention last year.
As a sophomore, Ojaniemi appeared in 17 games in goal, starting 16. She had a 10-1-1 record while registering four shutouts with a 1.21 goals against average.
