A native of Skovde, Sweden, has been named as the other Seahawk representative on the NAIA Second Team All-American squad. This is the second consecutive season that Blomqvist has garnered All-American accolades. Blomqvist was also selected as the Sun Conference Player of the Year and a Sun Conference First Team honoree. Blomqvist was named Newcomer of the Year last season in addition to first team honors. Blomqvist netted six goals and recorded two assists in the season, including a program-record four penalty kick goals. Blomqvist anchored a defense that surrendered 13 goals all season long.
As a freshman, Blomqvist was recognized as an Honorable Mention honoree. She was also selected as the Newcomer of the Year in addition to earning First Team All-Conference honors. Blomqvist, notched three goals and nine assists this season, all of which came in conference play. Â
