The Keiser University men's indoor track & field team continues its indoor season this Friday at the Visit Gainesville Indoor Classic, hosted at the Alachua County Sports & Events Center in Gainesville, Florida. Competition is scheduled to begin on Friday, Feb. 6, as the Seahawks look to build on strong performances from the opening meets of the season.
Keiser enters the meet with momentum following a productive weekend at the Legends of Alachua County Invitational, highlighted by a school-record performance in the shot put by Casey Wood and multiple top-five finishes across the track and field events. The Seahawks' throws group has been a consistent strength early in the season, while the sprint and hurdle events continue to show improvement. On the track, Adrian Rivadulla and Jesse Songo have led the distance and middle-distance groups, combining for multiple top finishes and personal records. In the hurdles, Rameau Estime continues to be a reliable presence after recording a top-four finish in the 60-meter hurdles at the most recent meet.
The Seahawks will look to continue improving marks and positioning athletes for postseason qualification as the indoor season moves forward.
