The Keiser men's indoor track & field team will send four qualifiers to the NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships, held March 5–7 in Gainesville, Fla.
The Seahawks enter nationals with strong momentum following a third-place finish at the Sun Conference Championship, highlighted by conference titles, school records, and NAIA A-standard performances.
Braylen Jones, Sophomore, Orlando, Fla.
- Triple Jump – 14.50m
- Jones earned his first career trip to nationals after placing third at the Sun Conference Championship in the triple jump. His 14.50-meter mark secured his qualification.
- The men's triple jump will begin Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
Adrian Rivadulla, Sophomore, Queven, France
- 800m Run – 1:51.89
- Rivadulla captured the Sun Conference title in the 800 meters with an NAIA A-standard time of 1:51.89. He enters nationals as one of the top middle-distance competitors in program history.
- The men's 800m will begin Friday at 3:30 p.m.
Jesse Songo, Freshman, Kenya
- 5000m Run – 14:50.91
- Songo claimed the Sun Conference Championship in the 5,000 meters, setting a conference meet record with a time of 14:52.17. The freshman standout will compete in his first national championship meet.
- Won Sun Conference Indoor Freshman of the Year.
- The men's 5,000m will begin Saturday at 4:20 p.m.
Casey Wood, Junior, Punta Gorda, Fla.
- Shot Put – 17.26m
- Wood enters nationals after winning the Sun Conference title in the shot put with a school-record throw of 17.26 meters, an NAIA A-standard mark. He ranks among the top throwers heading into the championship.
- Won the Sun Conference Most Oustanding Performer for his performance at the Indoor Sun Conference Championship.
- The men's shot put will begin Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
Keiser will look to translate its conference success into All-America performances as the Seahawks compete on the national stage.
