Men's Track and Field Close Indoor Championship with Third Place Finish

The Keiser men's indoor track & field team closed out the Sun Conference Championship with a strong final day to secure a third-place team finish with 142 points at the Alachua County Sports & Events Center.

Saturday featured multiple podium performances across disciplines as the Seahawks demonstrated depth from sprints to multis.

In the triple jump, Keiser placed two athletes on the podium as Chalem Diable finished second (14.42m) and Braylen Jones placed third (14.20m), while Sigmund Le Fjeld added points with a seventh-place finish.

Distance standout Jesse Songo continued his dominant championship weekend, earning second in the 3,000 meters (8:36.32) after winning the 5K on day one. Adrian Rivadulla added another runner-up finish in the 1000 meters (2:32.33), further strengthening Keiser's middle-distance scoring.

In the sprints, Alex Cruz placed third in the 60-meter dash, and Rameau Estime finished fourth in the 60-meter hurdles (8.23) to add crucial points. The men's 4x800 relay team of Francesco De Nicola, Giancarlo Vecchio, Matthew Wing, and Nikola Vukelja placed fourth overall.

In the heptathlon, Arthur Dupuy delivered a runner-up performance with 4,114 points, highlighting a strong showing in the multi-events. The throws group added valuable team scoring as Christian Nicolas (6th) and Casey Wood (7th) placed in the weight throw.

Keiser's balanced scoring effort across track, field, and multis secured a podium team finish as the Seahawks now shift focus toward national qualifiers.
