Keiser men's indoor track & field completed Day 1 of the RADD Sports College Invitational on Friday with several strong performances, highlighted by personal records and multiple top-five finishes across the distance and field events. In the throws, Casey Wood led the Seahawks with a second-place finish in the shot put, recording a top mark of 14.64 meters. Wood also competed in the weight throw, placing 10th overall with a personal-record mark of 13.64 meters. Christian Nicolas added another top-five result in the shot put, finishing fourth with a personal-best throw of 14.28 meters.
On the track, Jesse Songo posted a personal record in the 3000 meters, placing fifth overall with a time of 8:36.77. Adrian Rivadulla followed with a fourth-place finish in the 1000 meters, crossing the line in 2:30.12. Keiser also earned a fourth-place finish in the 4k distance medley relay, as the quartet of Rivadulla, De Nicola, Songo, and Vecchio combined for a time of 10:42.28. In the field events, Hugo Biget turned in a fifth-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 7.06 meters, while Keith Quinn recorded a personal record in the triple jump, placing 16th overall with a mark of 13.53 meters.
