After a year away from this meet, the Keiser University men's track & field team returns to the indoor stage this weekend at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational, hosted at the Alachua County Sports & Events Center at Celebration Pointe in Gainesville, Florida. The Seahawks enter the season with momentum after a strong finish at last year's NAIA Indoor National Championships, where Keiser placed 13th overall, highlighted by multiple All-America performances. Head coach Jamaine Gordon brings back a proven core of talent that has already established itself among the NAIA's elite.
This opening meet provides Keiser an opportunity to evaluate fitness, re-establish competitive rhythm, and set early qualifying marks as the Seahawks look to build toward another national championship run. With championship experience, record-breaking performances, and renewed focus, Keiser's return to the Jimmy Carnes Invitational begins with high expectations and a clear goal to continue climbing the national ranks.
