The 2025 Academic All-District At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), were announced on Tuesday. The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Three members of the men's lacrosse team (
AJ Badik,
Shane Cassidy, and
JP Prather) were recognized as Academic District honorees. Badik and Cassidy were picked to advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, where the first, second, and third teams will be chosen.
AJ Badik, Third Year, Orlando, Florida
- Recorded a 3.76 in Business Administration - Marketing
- Named a first-team selection for the third straight year
- A three-time First-Team All-AAC selection
- Appeared in all 15 games for the Seahawks
- Recorded 30 goals and 18 assists for 48 points in 2025
- Produced six hat tricks this season, including a season-high five goals versus Cumberlands (Ky.)
- Third on the team in total shots (102) and shots on goal (59)
- Scored three "man-up" goals
- Tallied 21 goundballs on the year
Shane Cassidy, Second Year, Oxford, Pennsylvania
- Posted a 3.93 in Criminal Justice
- Named an all-American for the first time in his career
- Earned first AAC All-Conferenece recognition of his career
- Appeared in all 15 games for the Seahawks
- Has posted one goal and three assists for four points
- Finished fifth on the team in groundballs (37)
- Anchored a Keiser defense that has give up the seventh-fewest goals in the nation and the fifth-best goals against average
- Led Keiser with 221 caused turnovers
- Produced a season-high five caused turnovers versus No. 1 Webber Int'l
JP Prather, Second Year, Orlando, Florida
- Had a 3.53 in Criminal Justice
- Appeared in all 15 games events for the Seahawks
- Posted 30 goals and 12 assists for 42 points
- Had two goals in the NAIA National Championship Game
- Assisted on the game-winning goal to win the Red Banner
- Recorded 89 total shots with 59 on goal
- Scored three game-winning goals on the season
- Registered 13 ground balls and had seven caused turnovers
