Keiser Men’s Lacrosse Opens 2026 Season Ranked No. 1 in AAC Preseason Poll

The Appalachian Athletic Conference released the 2026 Preseason Men's Lacrosse Coaches Poll on Wednesday. Keiser claimed the top spot in the poll, sweeping all 10 first-place votes as the program pursues its third AAC title. 

Top of the League
  • Keiser claimed the top spot in the AAC preseason coaches' poll, earning all 10 first-place votes
  • Webber International finished second in the poll with a total of 83 points
  • Cumberlands rounded out the top three, collecting 78 total points

 A Look Back at Last Season
 
  • The Seahawks finished the 2025 season with a 15-1 overall record, including an undefeated 8-0 mark in neutral-site contests
  • Keiser earned its third consecutive national championship, defeating Cumberlands 14-13 in overtime in the NAIA National Championship game
  • Kegan Hufford scored the game-winning goal in overtime to secure the national title
  • The Seahawks posted wins over both Webber International and Cumberlands during the regular season and postseason en route to the championship
  • Four Seahawks were named NAIA All-Americans following standout performances throughout the 2025 season
  • Keiser's offensive attack was led by AJ Badik, Vincent Cerasuolo, Ryan Rundle, and Keagan Hufford, combining for over 225 points
  • Rundle led the team with 69 points on the season, ranking among the AAC's top offensive threats
  • Keiser dominated the ground ball battle throughout the season, finishing with over 560 ground balls and 165 caused turnovers
  • Lucas Green anchored the defense in goal, finishing the season with a 14-1 record and delivering clutch saves during the national tournament
