Women's Basketball Lands Four All-Sun Conference Honors

The 2024-25 All-Sun Conference Women's Basketball Teams were unveiled on Wednesday, as voted on by the league's nine head coaches. This year's selections include 10 first-team honorees and 10 second-team members.

Seniors Elise Ellison and Elliana Schaefer earned first-team honors for the second consecutive season, while juniors Mimmi Hahne and Jasmyn Hale secured spots on the second team.

The Sun Conference Specialty Awards—including Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, Coach of the Year, and Champion of Character—will be announced on Thursday.



First-Team All-Conference

Elise Ellison, Sr., F, Lexington, KentuckyElise Ellison All-Sun
  • Earned First-Team All-Conference honors for the second time in her career
  • Started all 26 games for the Seahawks
  • Ranked fifth in the conference in scoring, averaging 14.0 points per game, while shooting 52.3 percent from the field (No. 4 in the conference)
  • Led Keiser in rebounding with 8.2 boards per game (No. 6 in the conference), totaling 212 rebounds
  • Scored in double figures 23 times this season
  • Became Keiser's all-time leader in career free throws made (366) and offensive rebounds (377)
  • Recorded six double-doubles, setting a program record with 29 in her career
  • Reached the 1,000-career-point milestone, finishing the season with a grand total 1,253 points
  • Earned Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors (1/13) and Defensive Player of the Week honors (10/28)

Elliana Schaefer

  • Earned First-Team All-Conference honors for the second time in her career
  • Started 25 of 26 games for the Seahawks
  • Averaged 13.1 points per game while shooting 42.6 percent from three-point range (No. 2 in the conference)
  • Led the team in three-pointers made (63), ranking second in the conference in three-point percentage (.426)
  • Scored in double figures 17 times this season
  • Recorded a career-high 28 points against Warner (11/23)
  • Led the team in assists, averaging 3.6 per game (No. 5 in the conference)
  • Named Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week twice (11/25, 2/24)
 

Second-Team All-Conference

Mimmi Hahne, Sr., G, Stockholm, SwedenMimmi Hahne All-Sun
  • Earned Second-Team All-Conference honors for the second time at Keiser
  • Started 22 games at guard for the Seahawks
  • Averaged 9.9 points per game while shooting 47.8 percent from the field (No. 9 in the conference)
  • Recorded 3.9 rebounds per game
  • Led the team in free throw percentage, shooting 82.9 percent (23-of-41)
  • Scored in double figures in eight games
  • Matched her Keiser career high with 22 points against Florida National (11/07)
  • Named Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week (10/28)

Jasmyn Hale All-SUN 2025Jasmyn Hale, Jr., F, Shakoopee, Minnesota
  • Earned Second-Team All-Conference honors for the first time in her collegiate career
  • Played in all 28 games for the Seahawks, making 21 starts
  • Averaged 8.0 points per game while shooting 49.7 percent from the field (No. 6 in the conference)
  • Recorded 6.0 rebounds per game, ranking third on the team and No. 15 in the conference
  • Ranked second on the team in three-pointers made (26), shooting an impressive 44.8 percent from beyond the arc
  • Scored in double figures 12 times, including back-to-back double-doubles (12/17, 12/18)
  • Led the team in steals with 51, ranking No. 6 in the conference
